On December 7, 2023, the first novus tournament took place in the Basque Country.

An important event!

Congratulations to the Basque Association of Beach Tennis and Minority Sports and FINSO for an important event, the first novus sports tournament in the Basque Country!
We wish the athletes from the Basque Country to improve their skills in the game of novus.
We hope to see players from this new organization at the FINSO International Ranking Tournaments.

I.Basque Country Novuss Championship 2023

The 7th of december we met in Elorrieta (Bilbao, Basque Country) 8 players to play the I.Basque Country Novuss Championship. This has been the first novuss
tournament that the Basque Association of Beach Tennis and Minority Sports has organized. Our association, and our Novuss section, is an associated member of FINSO (Federation International of Novuss-Sport Organizations) since november of 2021 as Basque Country.
We played three rounds: quarter finals, semifinals, 3º 4 position match and the final.

Goal is to organize 2 small tournaments during the year (in april Bizkaia Tournament, and in September Bilbao Tournament) and the Basque Country National Championship (Doubles) in July and Basque Country National Championship (Singles) every december.
