Throughout the year, players participate in a series of rating tournaments, each offering an opportunity to earn points based on their performance. These tournaments play a crucial role in determining the annual ranking, which ultimately decides the players who have qualified for the final tournament.
The final tournament, known as the “Player of the Year” tournament, brings together the best players from the rating tournaments. It is an exciting event where the players competes for the highest recognition and the chance to become the Player of the Year.
Novuss sport, being a sport that offers equal opportunities for all, allows players with disabilities to participate in the World Cup stages. European Cup for people with dissabilities
In addition to the FINSO World Cup stages, there are also separate rating tournaments known as the Europe Cup, specifically designed for people with disabilities. These tournaments provide a platform for individuals with disabilities to showcase their skills, compete at a European level, and strive for excellence in corresponding disciplines. It is an inclusive event that promotes equal opportunities and celebrates the abilities of all participants. The Europe Cup rating tournaments add an extra dimension to the overall FINSO World Cup experience, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusivity in sports.
What is a tournament "under the auspices of FINSO"?
Organizing a tournament “under the auspices of FINSO” provides a unique opportunity to enhance the popularity of Novuss sport. There is currently no established regulation regarding the requirements for such a tournament, but the following requirements can already be formulated:
- The tournament organizer, before the date of its holding, notifies the secretariat about the competition and provides the information for including this tournament in the tournament calendar on the page.
- The tournament is conducted according to the rules published at http://novussport.org/pravila_novus.html.
- The tournament organizer displays the above-mentioned logo on informational, advertising, and award materials of the tournament.
- The tournament organizer sends the following documents to the FINSO secretariat:
- Before the tournament, no later than 4 weeks – the regulations of the competition.
- After the tournament, no later than 1 week – the results of the competition in .xls(xlsx) or.smw format (Swiss Master program file).
- After the tournament – tournament photos (3-6 pieces) and, if available, a press release or any materials from the media.
